Common lingo referring to Disney vacations

Disney fans have likely heard an acronym, abbreviation or shortened phrase that represents a bigger part of Walt Disney World® Resort, as the commonly-used WDW represents the resort itself. There are tons of abbreviations and acronyms that don’t pop up often, but some of the more common ones can become confusing for even the most seasoned guests, so having a breakdown can help. This list doesn’t cover every acronym, abbreviation or phrase you’ll ever see, but it should take care of the ones you’ll see most often when planning a trip.

ADR: Advance Dining Reservation

AP: Annual Pass/Passholder

BOG: Be Our Guest Restaurant

CM: Cast Member

CP: College Program (Short for Disney College Program or College Program Cast Member)

CRT: Cinderella’s Royal Table

CS: Counter Service Meal

DAK: Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park

DCA: Disney’s California Adventure

DCP: Disney College Program

DtD: Downtown Disney® District

DD: Disney Daughter

DDP: Disney Dining Plan

DH: Disney Husband

DHS: Disney’s Hollywood Studios®

DL: Disneyland® Park

DLP: Disneyland Paris

DLR: Disneyland® Resort

DS: Disney Son

DVC: Disney Vacation Club

DW: Disney Wife

QS: Quick Service Meal (Used to reference the same thing as Counter Service)

SW: Star Wars
