Updated: May 21

Hurricane Nicole, which downgraded to Tropical Storm Nicole as it swept through Central Florida, moved through Orlando in the earliest portions of Thursday, Nov. 10. Many closed early on Wednesday in advance of the storm, and are prepared to reopen during the day Thursday.

Universal Orlando Resort has announced it anticipates a phased and delayed reopening on Thursday, and though it has not updated its opening times as of 10:30 a.m., it will do so via this link.

Walt Disney World Resort® theme parks are set to reopen in a phased approach, meaning Disney is scheduled to operate as follows:

  • Magic Kingdom Park®: Noon to 6 p.m. (Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled for 7 p.m. to midnight.)

  • EPCOT®: 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park®: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios®: 2 p.m.to 10 p.m. (Fantasmic! will not be presented Nov. 10)

  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park and the miniature golf courses will remain closed.

  • Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is anticipated to reopen Nov. 10, following an assessment of storm impacts.

  • The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser voyage scheduled to begin Nov.10 has been cancelled

  • Disney Springs will begin a phased reopening at 12 p.m. Nov. 10

Bus transportation to all parks is set to begin 30 minutes prior to park open. Transportation from Disney Springs is set to begin at 2 p.m. Dining and experience reservations beyond destination opening times are set to continue as planned.
