Next year is set to bring enormous changes that simplify the Walt Disney® World Resort vacation experience, and you can already get in line to be among the first to book your 2024 trip.
What's New
2024 Walt Disney World Resort ticket packages go on sale May 31, 2023, and Disney made a handful of major announcements before that date hits.
Dining plans are returning Jan. 9, 2024! Click here to read more about the two new options.
Park pass reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets beginning Jan. 9, 2024. If your tickets are valid for a specific date range, like the tickets you get as part of a vacation package, you can attend any Walt Disney World theme park without having to make a reservation.
Annual Passholders will get "Good to Go Days," where they won't have to make park pass reservations to get into the theme park. This comes in addition to the new ruling that allows Annual Passholders to get into all parks past 2 p.m., save for Magic Kingdom® Park on weekends—that requires a reservation still.
A simplified Disney Genie+ experience is set to come soon, as Disney is considering guest feedback when designing a version of the experience that is easier to navigate.
Disney confirmed extended park time for Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas will continue
