Running down all of Walt Disney World's upcoming entertainment offerings

Updated: May 16

As Walt Disney World® Resort gets closer to "The Most Magical Celebration" for its 50th anniversary and continues its return to pre-pandemic normalcy, a list of entertainment changes have been continually announced.

  • The Hall of Presidents is set to reopen in August with a new speaking animatronic of President Joe Biden

  • Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is scheduled to return Aug. 8

  • Beauty and the Beast—Live on Stage is set to return Aug. 15

  • Turtle Talk with Crush is scheduled to return Aug. 21

  • Epcot® Forever will make its final run on Sept. 28

  • Happily Ever After will make its final run on Sept. 29

  • Harmonious and Disney Enchantment make their debuts on Oct. 1

Disney has stated that its current slate of nighttime spectaculars, Epcot Forever and Happily Ever After, will become a part of Disney's history on their closing, making way for the two new shows to take their place as Disney's new longterm fireworks shows.

The addition of new technology aids that idea, as the barges seen upon World Showcase Lagoon and the new additions being added to Magic Kingdom® Park—new fireworks launches and projections—make for all-new fireworks experiences that only new shows designed around them could make the best use of.
