Universal Orlando Resort has become known for its thorough, detailed theming thanks to the arrival of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the explosive popularity of Halloween Horror Nights. It has carried that theming intensity through to the theme park shopping experience with the Tribute Store, a shop nestled around the corner from Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
The shop opens and closes seasonally, and during its downtime it undergoes a makeover where designers overhaul the store to match the new season, bringing in props that mirror Mardi Gras, horror, the holidays or—during the summer—feature films like Jaws.
The grand, encompassing theming is intense, but it stays away from the scares so more hesitant guests can still enjoy the sites, merchandise and exclusive food.
The Tribute Store's next iteration is set to open with the park's holiday festivities on Nov. 12, 2023.
