What you should eat (& drink) at 2023's EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

Updated: May 21

This year's EPCOT® International Festival of the Holidays is one of our favorite iterations of the party ever, with its most diverse dining selections yet bringing an additional layer of excitement to the park's many seasonal activities.

We've tried many of the new dishes and some returning ones, and everything comes with a strong recommendation.

Blackened Catfish

Complete with Hoppin’ John and comeback sauce, this hearty portion is designed for those who want a heavy, classic cold-weather meal. Atop a heaping serving of rice and beans, we found the catfish to be packed with flavor and spice while leaving behind any hint of fishiness.

Served hot, as many of the festival's dishes are, this generous portion is an easy favorite of ours.

Pernil

Mojo pork overflows over perfectly crispy tostones, delivering a taste of Puerto Rican authenticity that we can't stop thinking about. A wonderful blend of textures and flavors, this dish will remain one we clamor for at menu-reveal for each festival's return over the next several years.

Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini

Our favorite adult beverage of the festival, this translate the richness of hot chocolate with the bite of vodka. A perfect taste of the holidays when Florida's heat hasn't quite dissipated, this is a drink that matches flavor with fun, and has become a festival staple for good reason.
