Universal revealed a deep dive into one of five worlds coming to Universal Epic Universe theme park in 2025: the biggest version yet of Universal's SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. This interactible land will, upon opening, give guests access to two separate areas. The first is Super Mario Land: featuring the iconic hills of the Mushroom Kingdom. The second land features the first version of Donkey Kong Country in the United States.
The third interactible installment of Nintendo in the Universal parks, Universal and Nintendo says Guests can level up their fun in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD with the purchase of a Power-Up Band, a wearable for their wrist that allows them to enhance their play throughout Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country. With the Power-Up Band, guests can collect digital coins by punching ? Blocks and playing interactive activities; collect digital stamps on attractions; earn digital keys to unlock an exclusive showdown against Bowser Jr.; and discover other hidden surprises. Guests can also access Leaderboard screens in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD to see where they rank amongst fellow guests.
Super Mario Land:
Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge
Guests, members of Team Mario, battle Team Bowser for the Golden Cup in an attraction that brings augmented reality and projection mapping to hop into the tracks of the iconic Mario Kart video games.
Yoshi's Adventure
This family-friendly attraction joins guests with Yoshis for a tour throughout the entirety of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Toadstool Cafe
Super Mario Land's main restaurant, guests can dine on items like Mario and Luigi-themed burgers, Super Mushroom Soup, Piranha Plant Caprese, Fire Flower Spaghetti and Meatballs and more.
Yoshi’s Snack Island and Turbo Boost Treats
Treats, snacks and beverages will be available at both of these walk-up locations.
1-UP Factory and Mario Motors
These two souvenir shops will give guests the opportunity to take home a piece of the land with character-themed items.
Meet and Greets
Guests can meet Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad.
Donkey Kong Country:
Mine-Cart Madness
The first family coaster of its design, guests will join Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong in what Universal and Nintendo says will utilize an unprecedented ride system, innovative technology and a unique coaster design, Mine-Cart Madness will send riders on a thrilling adventure where they will experience the jaw-dropping maneuvers that they’ve seen Donkey Kong and the mine carts perform in the video games – including getting blasted out of a barrel, seemingly jumping over gaps as they speed along a rickety track, and so much more.
Dining and Merchandise
Though more details on specific offerings are set to come, tropical food and merchandise themed around the Donkey Kong franchise will be available in this jungle of a land.
